West End Health Director indicted for sex offenses with a minor

Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney Joseph T. Deters today announced the indictment of the West End Health Center Executive director, Wendell Walker, 44, for Attempted Rape, Gross Sexual Imposition, Sexual Battery and Child Endangerment. These events occurred at the health center on Linn Street from January through June 2005.

Walker offered to be a volunteer mentor to the 14 year old male victim. Walker turned himself into the District 5 Police Officers on August 19, 2005. If convicted on all charges, Walker could spend 33 1/2 years in prison. He is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $50,000 bond.
