A Hamilton County Grand Jury indicts a Cincinnati Firefighter for the death of a young mother

Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney Joseph T. Deters announced the indictment of Joseph Dance for the death of a young mother. Dance, 28, has been indicted on two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.


On December 14, 2006, Dance attended a holiday party with coworkers at Game Day Cafe. Around 1:25 a.m., he was driving his 2000 Ford Expedition southbound in a northbound lane of 1-71 when he struck a vehicle being driven by Lisa Kreutzer. Kreutzer, 25, died as result of her injuries. Dance was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Dance is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $500,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 13 years in prison.
