Reward provided to witness in "Bonafide Hustler" murder case


The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office announced today that a witness who came forward and provided information concerning the January 14, 2006 murder of Rob Pursley was presented a reward totaling $9,100.

Kim Peterson, Executive Director of the Carole Sund/Carrington Reward Foundation, presented the witness a $5,100 award for cooperating with the Cincinnati Police Department and testifying as a witness in the murder trial of Lonnie Webster in December of 2006. In addition, the family of Rob Pursley made a reward payment to the witness of $4,000.

On January 11, 2007, Lonnie Webster was sentenced to 80 ½ years to Life in prison for the murder of Rob Pursley outside Mulligan’s Pub in Hyde Park.
