Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announces the Death Penalty Indictment for murder of Linda's Mini Market owner

Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the indictment of 21-year-old Millvale resident Marcus Hill (dob 11/24/87) in the death of Linda's Mini Market owner Wade M. Nassar. Hill was indicted for 2 counts of Aggravated Murder (Special Felony) and 1 count of Aggravated Robbery (F1) and 1 count of Robbery (F2).

Hill is charged with the March 2, 2009 beating death of 62-year-old store owner Nassar in the commission of a robbery at the store located at 823 Elm Street in downtown Cincinnati. These charges carry the possibility of the death penalty.

Prosecutor Deters commented, "Mr. Nassar refused to give up his business even after surviving several robbery attempts. It is tragic to think that he paid with his life for simply attempting to run his business."
