Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announces the indictment of Miciah Black


Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the multi-count indictment of Miciah Black (dob 7-23-88).

Black is charged with 4 counts of Rape (Felony 1), 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery (Felony 1), 3 counts of Abduction (Felony 3), 1 count of Robbery (Felony 2) and 1 count of Felonious Assault (Felony 2). If convicted on all charges, he faces the possibility of 86 years in prison.

Black is charged with a February 18, 2009 rape, aggravated robbery, abduction and felonious assault for an incident that occurred in downtown Cincinnati. Black met the 17-year-old female victim when he asked to borrow her cell phone. She lent him her phone which he then refused to return. At that point, he lured her into a downtown apartment building where the rape occurred.

Black is also charged with a May 4, 2009 rape, aggravated robbery and abduction of a 17-year-old female who he made the acquaintance of that day in Lytle Park in downtown Cincinnati.

The February incident was under investigation prior to the May 4th incident although no charges had been filed.
