HAMILTON COUNTY PROSECUTOR JOSEPH DETERS ANNOUNCES THE INDICTMENT OF CHRISTOPHER LUKACS AND AMBRE KING
Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters announced the indictment of Christopher Lukacs,
27 years old, and Ambre King, 29 years old. Defendant Christopher Lukacs repeatedly raped his biological four
year old daughter between the dates of December 1st, 2007 and March 25th, 2008. These crimes occurred in the
West Price Hill area of Cincinnati. On January 3rd, 2008, the child was taken by ambulance to Cincinnati
Children's Hospital suffering from vaginal injuries.
These crimes came to light on March 25th, 2008, when the maternal grandfather went to the
defendant's residence to pick up the four year old child and her seven year old brother. It was there that
he found the four year old girl naked. A call was placed to the authorities and an investigation led to the
present charges.
In addition to these charges, Lukacs is facing Domestic Violence and felony Periodic
Verification of Current Address charges which arose from a prior conviction for Gross Sexual Imposition.
The July 11th, 2000, Gross Sexual Imposition conviction involved the then 20 year old Defendant having sexual
contact with a twelve year old female.
Ambre King, the mother of the four year old victim is being charged with Endangering Children
in conjunction with the current offense.
Prosecutor Joe Deters commented, "The ever increasing abuse of children in our community is
unacceptable. I want to be very clear on this subject. If you choose to rape a child, you had better be
prepared to spend the rest of your life in jail."
Christopher Lukacs has been indicted for four counts of Rape (F1) and one count of Felonious
Assault (F2). If convicted, Lukacs faces life in prison without the possibility of parole. Ambre King has
been charged with one count of Endangering Children (F3). If convicted, King faces up to five years in
prison.
