HAMILTON COUNTY PROSECUTOR JOSEPH T. DETERS ANNOUNCES THE ARREST OF BEN HAWKINS ON CHARGES OF GROSS SEXUAL IMPOSITION AND ATTEMPTED GROSS SEXUAL IMPOSITION
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announces the arrest of 44 year old Springfield
Township resident Ben Hawkins on charges of Gross Sexual Imposition and Attempted Gross Sexual Imposition.
Hawkins is accused of e-mailing and meeting with parents and young children alleging that he was conducting a
marketing research study on children's underwear.
The prosecutor's office and the police are asking anyone who may have had contact with Hawkins
or received e-mails from cincyteensandtweens@yahoo.com or springfieldresearch@mail.org to immediately
contact the St. Bernard Police Department at 513-242-2727 or Chief Investigator McKinley Brown, Hamilton
County Prosecutor's Office, at 513-946-3275.
Prosecutor Deters commented, "It is crucial that the public report any contact with Hawkins.
Nothing is more important than protecting our children."
