HAMILTON COUNTY PROSECUTOR JOSEPH T. DETERS ANNOUNCES THE INDICTMENT OF BANK ROBBER CONRAD ZDZIERAK
Clever mask did not hide true identity of bank robber.
Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the multi-count indictment for bank robber Conrad Zdzierak.
Zdzierak, (DOB 3-9-80), is a former resident of Poland and Florida.
Zdzierak is charged with committing the following six aggravated robberies in Hamilton County: (3-5-10) Chaco Credit Union
located in the Forest Park Wal-Mart, (4-9-10) Key Bank located on Winton Road in Springfield Township, (4-9-10) Fifth Third Bank located in
the Woodlawn Kroger on Springfield Pike, (4-9-10) Key Bank located on Princeton Pike in Springdale, (4-9-10) CVS Pharmacy located on Kemper
Road in Springdale, and (4-9-10) Franklin Savings located in Forest Park . In all six incidents he is charged with Aggravated Robbery
(Felony 1), Robbery (F3) and Weapon Under Disability (F3). The Weapon Under Disability charge is based on his 2005 conviction in Florida for
the sale of cocaine. If convicted of all charges, he faces a maximum possible sentence of 120 years in prison.
In the commission of these robberies, Zdzierak, who is Caucasian, masqueraded as an African American by wearing a face mask.
He also wore sun glasses and a hoodie in an attempt to hide his identity. At all six locations, he produced a note demanding money and
indicating that he had a gun although no gun was ever used or shown. Based on information from the aggravated robbery victims and tips to
law enforcement, Zdzierak was arrested on April 14th at the Springdale Extended Stay Hotel in possession of numerous items relating to the
robberies.
