Domestic Violence Unit
Although all prosecutors in the Office of Connie Pillich handle domestic violence cases, the Office has several courtroom advocates who work in tandem with prosecutors and various community liaisons to provide a variety of services to domestic violence victims.
In cooperation with community organizations like Women Helping Women, Legal Aid, Hamilton County Children's Services, and local law enforcement agencies, the Office provides a centralized resource and support system through the Victim Advocate Division.

Resources
The Office of Connie Pillich continues its proactive approach to address domestic violence and violence in our community. Prosecutors and Victim Advocate teams offer free presentations to the community in Hamilton County to discuss domestic violence and breaking the cycle of violence. These presentations, along with free handouts, provide critical information on the consequences of domestic violence and what happens if a juvenile or adult is charged with a domestic violence crime. By educating the community on the real-life impact of this behavior, the Prosecutor’s Office seeks to prevent violence and keep teens and adults out of the criminal justice system.
If you're interested in hosting a free presentation at your school or for your organization on domestic violence, please contact Joyce Powdrill at 513-946-3031 or email at joyce.powdrill@hcpros.org.
