Norman Sanders stabbed a 15-year-old boy to death. No one really seems to know why as Sanders and his co-defendant, Pamela Reed, told multiple stories about what happened.

In one story, the boy approached Sanders and started fighting him over gang issues (notably, the boy had never been charged with a crime in his life). In another, Sanders caught Reed and the boy in a sexually compromising position and “lost it.” In yet another, Reed claimed to have let the boy in her home and that she attacked him when she came onto him. At another time, Sanders claimed that Reed opened the door when he got to her house mostly naked claiming that the boy – who was apparently lounging in the bed fully dressed – was raping her.

While we have no idea why Sanders and Reed decided to kill this boy, we do know that they went through quite a bit of effort to try to clean things up (placing the body just outside their window, however, probably was not the wisest part of their cover-things-up plan). When police entered their home, they were struck by the scent of Pinesol. They found a bathtub reeking of bleach filled with clothes. And, eventually, they found a knife and a pair of scissors with blood on them in a nearby van.

Sanders took the life of a 15-year-old boy for unknown reasons by repeatedly stabbing him. He then tried to clean up his crime and told story after story about what really happened. Having so remorselessly taken the life of a child, he should spend the rest of his life in prison.
