Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich seeks community support to oppose parole of "senior stalker"
The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office is asking for community assistance to oppose the possible parole of Dale Jackson, infamously known as the “Senior Stalker” for his deliberate targeting of elderly victims.
In the fall of 1987, Jackson terrorized senior citizens across Cincinnati. His victims, ranging in age from 61 to 95, were attacked in their homes after he forced entry by deception or violence. Once inside, Jackson often strangled and choked his victims while threatening to rape them if they did not give him money.
Although Jackson was ultimately convicted of crimes against eight people, he admitted to targeting at least 15 victims. He received a prison sentence of 90 to 150 years.
Earlier this year, Jackson was considered for parole. Despite opposition from the prosecutor’s office, the Ohio Parole Board has recommended his release.
“Jackson preyed on the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich. “We want to ensure he’s never given the chance to harm anyone again.”
Pillich is urging the Ohio Parole Board to reconsider its recommendation. To strengthen this effort, the office is seeking relatives, friends, or community members who can share how Jackson’s crimes affected victims and their families.
Because Jackson specifically targeted elderly citizens, it is believed that most of his direct victims are deceased. Their loved ones, however, may be able to provide testimony about the devastating impact of his crimes.
If you or someone you know has information about Jackson’s victims and would like to help prevent his release, please contact the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office no later than Friday, October 10, 2025.
